Hotel Accommodations

Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa boasts spectacular views of the surrounding Sonora Desert and a delightfully sunny and temperate climate year-round. In the midst of this desert setting, we’re a lush oasis of activities: 27 holes of championship golf in a rolling green landscape, a complex of five refreshing pools with 177-foot waterslide, and a 9,300-square-foot, world-class spa.

We have negotiated a very favorable group rate at the Westin La Paloma of $259 for single or double occupancy. The group rate will be honored three days prior and three days after the meeting, based on availability. The reservation deadline for the group rate is February 26, 2008. After this date (or once the group block has been consumed), the group rate will be subject to availability. Reservations may be made by calling the hotel directly at 520/742-6000. Be sure to mention you are attending the “American Bar Association Midwinter Meeting” to receive the group rate. If necessary, cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival date to avoid a one-night cancellation charge.

A block of rooms also has been reserved at the Embassy Suites Hotel for $189 per night. Registrants who wish to reserve a room at the Embassy Suites hotel may do so by calling 520-352-4000 by February 25, 2008.

Meeting Registration

The registration fees for the meeting are $275 for Section Members, $325 for Non-Members, $175 for Government Agency, Law Student and Non-Profit attendees.
