Nationwide Mentoring Program
The Mentoring Program - open to all lawyer and third year law student Section members - is a voluntary program that endeavors to match new Section members seeking guidance in their practice with veteran members who have experience in a particular aspect of the labor and employment law field. Matches will be made based on interest, affiliation, geographic location, and any other criteria the mentees may state. For more information, feel free to review the Mentoring Program FAQ's. (Section membership is a pre-requisite for participation in this program-if you're not currently a Section member, you can join online or call 800/285-2221.)
How to Become a Mentor
Potential mentors will complete a short application form and return it
to either the Section office. The Section is promoting the program to
potential mentees, and applicants are matched with mentors as they sign
up to participate in the program. Once you have been assigned a mentee,
you will be notified by the Section office, and will be expected to contact
the mentee and introduce yourself.

online application and send it to the Section office. Applicants will
be matched with more senior Section members who have played active roles
