Burnham "Hod" Greeley Judicial Outreach Award

Call for Nominations
This award is named in honor of the late Burnham "Hod" Greeley, a dedicated lawyer and leader within the American Bar Association, who was committed to promoting public trust and confidence in our justice system.
The Hod Greeley Award was established by the American Bar Association Coalition for Justice to recognize individuals and organizations dedicated to promoting increased public awareness of the need for a fair and impartial judiciary.
The first annual presentation of the Hod Greeley Award will take place at the
2006 American Bar Association Annual Meeting
The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation Summer Reception

Criteria for Selection
The Hod Greeley Award may be presented to any individual or organization that has made a significant positive impact on public understanding of the role of the judiciary.
The Award recognizes extraordinary outreach efforts designed to enhance public awareness of the need for a fair and impartial judiciary.
Legal and non-legal organizations are eligible. Individual nominees need not be lawyers.
Nomination Guidelines
- Resume or biographical sketch for individual nominees; program description for organizational nominee
- Description of the nominee's efforts and the impact thereof
- Letters of support (limit 3) for the nomination
- The name of the person(s) or organization making the nomination
