CRIMINAL JUSTICE: crime prevention, corrections, death penalty, etc.

 

In Oregon a Criminal Justice Advisory Committee is working on recommending initiatives to improve criminal disposition programs.

The Milwaukee County Bar hosted a community forum with the theme of access to justice – perceptions, realities, solutions entitled "How Do Milwaukee’s Civil and Criminal Justice Systems Influence Race Relations?"

The State Bar of Wisconsin is working with the State Public Defender’s office to organize two public forums for spring 2000 to be held in Milwaukee and Janesville focusing on crime and punishment: myth versus reality.
