The program pointed to the hidden aspects of intimate partner sexual assault and the complex challenges presented while protecting the victim and her children while insuring due process for the accused.

The Coalition for Justice is accepting applications for the 3rd Annual Burnham "Hod" Greeley Award.
The Burnham “Hod” Greeley Award may be presented to any individual or organization that has made a significant, positive impact on public understanding of the role of the judiciary in a democratic society and its importance to the Rule of Law. The Award recognizes extraordinary outreach efforts designed to enhance public awareness of the need for a fair and impartial judiciary.
The Coalition for Justice will review the nominations and, if appropriate, select one award recipient. The Coalition may decide not to present an award if the nominations do not meet the stated award criteria.
Legal and non-lawyer organizations are eligible. Individual nominees need not be lawyers.
Nomination Guidelines
- Completed nomination form
- Resume or biographical sketch for individual nominee; program description for organizational nominee
- Description of the nominee’s efforts and impact
- Letters of support (limit 3) for the nomination
- Assurance the nominee is available to attend the award ceremony

New National Issues Forum Issue Book Released:The Coalition for Justice, in conjunction with the Kettering Foundation, has produced a new National Issues Forum Book entitled Under Pressure: How to Keep the Courts Fair and Impartial. This issue book is intended to help promote deliberative dialogue about the judiciary. The goal is to reach some shared understanding of what the problems may be and to see if there is any shared sense of direction about the best ways to resolve them.
