| The Standing Committee works around the
country with bar associations and public groups to educate members
on the issues and importance of judicial independence. Some
of the activities of the Standing Committee include:
~ Organizing symposia
~ Providing speakers for events and programs
~ Facilitating training for speakers including judges, lawyers
and bar leaders
~ Assisting in bench/bar/press conferences
~ Developing materials to help individuals addressing judicial
independence issues.
