NHTSA Judicial Outreach Liaisons

The Judicial Outreach Liaison (JOL), with its foundation built by the Judicial Fellowship program, works to unite the outreach efforts of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) with the ABA Judicial Division, targeting different regions of the country to educate and mobilize support for traffic safety activities. This will assist NHTSA in meeting its goal of reducing the annual highway traffic fatality rate to no more than 1.0 deaths per 100 million vehicle miles of travel by 2011.  The JOL will also work to improve community outreach, provide quality education and promote confidence and trust in the judiciary.
