As a member of the Lawyers Conference, you have the opportunity to participate meaningfully and to interact and network with judges and others in the court system.
Using the national voice that the ABA provides, the Lawyers Conference can and does make a difference on issues that it addresses. Some of the issues that the Lawyers Conference addresses include:

The Lawyers Conference has played a significant role in the development of the ABA Guidelines on Judicial Performance Evaluation and the preparation of model instruments for evaluation of Judges.

Who We Are
The Judicial Division Lawyers Conference is composed of lawyers, judges, court managers, legal teachers, writers and publishers, and law students. The Lawyers Conference is the only Judicial Division Conference composed of both judicial and non-judicial members.
Our Mission
The Lawyers Conference of the Judicial Division provides a forum for attorneys and law students to interact with members of the judiciary and the community; to improve the administration of justice; to advance confidence in the judiciary; and to promote a diverse and adequately funded justice system.
