RECOMMENDATION
Be it Resolved, That the American Bar Association urges that no person with mental retardation, as defined by the American Association on Mental Retardation, should be sentenced to death or executed; andBe it Further Resolved, That the American Bar Association supports enactment of legislation barring the execution of defendants with mental retardation.
