Russell W. Dombrow
Russell is a Contractor with Huron Consulting Group’s Legal Division in Miramar, Florida, where he analyzes documents in a variety of matters, including complex litigation and regulatory investigations. He began his career at Huron in 2007 after graduating from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center with a Certificate in International Legal Practice, and a Certificate in Arbitration Law from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law and the McGill University Faculty of Law. Russell also holds a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Nova’s Graduate School of Computer & Information Sciences, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Russell’s practice interest is in International Commercial Dispute Resolution & Litigation. He is also active in U.S. politics, where he has served on the Florida Democratic Lawyers’ Council for the past three election cycles, and was a former Regional Aide to the late U.S. Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. Prior to becoming the Outreach Committee’s Co-Chair, Russell was a Vice-Chair on the Committee. Russell also serves on the Section’s Membership and Diversity Committees, and is a Co-Chair for the 2009 Fall Meeting in Miami Beach. He is an alumnus of the Jessup International Law Moot Court and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, where he has served as a judge and as a pre-moot arbitrator, respectively.
Celmira Jamett
Celmira is currently conducting document review work with Synergy Legal Professionals in Miramar, Florida. In the course of her work she is involved with multinational matters across various jurisdictions and practice areas, including analysis of materials in foreign languages. Prior to joining Synergy in 2008, Celmira researched legislative and administrative records regarding post Hurricane Katrina efforts assisting a friend who is writing a book on the subject.
Celmira graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2007. At Miami she was an executive member of the International Law Society, the International Moot Court Board and participated in the Study Abroad Summer Program as well as the Miami - Leipzig Seminar. Her involvement with the Section began by attending the 2006 Spring and Fall Meetings with fellow Miami law students. Since those meetings, she has assisted with law student and young lawyer planning and recruiting for seasonal meetings as well as being vice-chair of the Committee.
