ABA Section of International Law
Pathways to Employment Event Form
The American Bar Association Section of International Law’s Pathways to Employment in International Law program is a unique forum that brings law students and new lawyers together with experienced legal practitioners to explore opportunities for employment in international law. The program is conducted through the Section of International Law’s seasonal meetings, law schools that have an LL.M. program, non-profit organizations, and many other entities with a strong international focus.
Each Pathways panel consists of Section leaders from diverse backgrounds who give advice and guidance on gaining practical experience and improving legal and networking skills, as well as sharing their own paths to careers in International Law. Each program is followed by a reception where students and new lawyers can mingle with panelists and faculty to further enhance their international education. Attending a Pathways Program will help you:
- Learn about International Internship Opportunities
- Network with legal experts from around the world
- Understand other legal systems and cultures
- Become active in international organizations and societies
- Develop legal and interpersonal skills
