SOCIAL EVENTS All of the following events are included in the Conference registration fee at no extra charge. Continental Breakfast Continental Breakfast for all conference attendees and their guests will be available in Commonwealth Hall, 2nd Floor, from 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. A Buffet Breakfast will be available in the Anthony Room, 3rd Floor, 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. Get-Acquainted Reception A special reception will be held Wednesday, June 26 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. This reception is an opportunity for the younger and newer members who may be looking to increase their participation in section activities to meet and greet the leadership of the section. All registrants and their guests are invited to attend. This event is co-sponsored by Volpe & Koenig, P.C. Welcome Reception and Dinner On Thursday, June 27, we will have a very special Welcome Reception/Dinner at the Franklin Institute Science Museum. Guests will be transported to the Franklin Institute via trolley shuttles departing from the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. On a nice summer evening, the Franklin Institute is a pleasant 25-minute walk from the hotel for those wishing to walk. In addition to the fascinating hands-on exhibits, including a giant walk-through human heart, guests will enjoy music, cocktails and a sumptuous spread of cuisine. LLP. Registrants' Luncheons On Thursday, June 27, between our CLE programs in the morning, and the Business Session in the afternoon, we will have a Section luncheon, featuring guest speaker James E. Rogan, new Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Luncheons are co-sponsored by the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association. On Friday, June 28, Hon. Marjorie O. Rendell, Circuit Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, will be the guest speaker. Annual Reception and Dinner-Dance On Friday evening, the Section will host the Annual Reception from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Reception precedes the Annual Dinner-Dance, which will feature live music with a big band sound. All registrants and guests are invited to attend the reception and dinner-dance. Chair's Farewell Reception This is the group's chance to get together one final time, at the invitation of the Section Chair. This cocktail reception wil light hors d'oeuvres will feature the awarding of the golf and tennis tournament prizes from earlier in the day. All registrants and their guests are invited to the reception. Attendees have a free evening following the reception, and are on their own for dinner at the restaurant of their choice.
