Continental Breakfast Continental Breakfast for all conference attendees and their guests will be available in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, 2nd Floor, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. Welcome Reception and Dinner On Thursday, June 28, we will have a very special Welcome Reception/Dinner at the Pacific Science Center. This event is sponsored, in part, by Christensen O'Connor Johnson and Kindness PLLC and Miller Nash LLP. Access to the special exhibit "TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibit" is courtesy of Perkins Coie LLP. Constructed for the 1962 World’s Fair, the Pacific Science Center is known throughout the nation for its unique, stunning architecture designed by Minoru Yamasaki. Located just southwest of the Space Needle in Seattle Center, the Pacific Science Center consists of four dynamic buildings, surrounded by beautiful courtyards of fountains and pools. The buildings house over 200 hands-on exhibits. Guests will be transported to Seattle Center via the famous Monorail and by motorcoach departing from Westlake Center, a short 3 block walk from the Sheraton Seattle. In addition to the fascinating hands-on activity, guests will enjoy music, cocktails and a sumptuous spread of cuisine. (Casual attire)!
Registrants' Luncheons On Thursday, June 28, between our business session and CLE programming, we will have a Section luncheon,
featuring William Neukom, Vice President, Law and Corporate Affairs with Microsoft Corporation.
This event is sponsored in part by Christensen O'Connor Johnson and Kindness PLLC. On Friday, June 29, Hon. M. Margaret McKeown, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, will be the guest speaker. On Friday evening, the Section will hold the Annual Reception from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Reception precedes the Annual Dinner-Dance which will feature live big band music. All registrants and guests are invited to attend the reception and dinner-dance. Special Get Acquainted Reception A special reception for our First Time Attendees, Young Lawyer attendees, New Section Members, Section Council and Honorary Council will be held on Wednesday, June 27 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. This reception is an opportunity for the younger and newer members who may be looking to increase their participation in Section activities, to meet and greet the leadership of the Section.
