Advance Registration: Register now

or complete and mail the registration form with your payment. If paying
by credit card, you may fax the form to 312/988-5628. Deadline for receipt
of advance registration is March 17, 2004. Payment must accompany form.
Onsite Registration: Onsite registration
will be available Wednesday, March 31, 2004 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Onsite
registrations must include payment.
Registration Confirmation: Confirmations
will be sent via e-mail in advance of the program for all registrations
received prior to March 17, 2004.
Cancellation Policy: Registrants unable
to attend will receive a refund less a $25 administrative fee if a written
cancellation is received by March 17, 2004. Fax cancellation requests
to 312/988-5628, Attn.: Practical Tips Program. No refunds will be granted
after March 17. Substitutions are acceptable.The ABA reserves the right
to cancel any program and assumes no responsibility for personal expenses.
Food and Beverage: There will be coffee
service prior to the start of the program, and during breaks. A buffet
luncheon is included in the registration fee. The featured guest speaker
will be Hon Alan D. Lourie of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal
Circuit.
Location: The site of the program
is the International Trade Center in the Ronald Reagan Building at 1300
Pennsylvania Ave., between 13th and 14th Streets, NW, Washington, DC.
Lodging: A
limited block of sleeping rooms has been reserved across the street from
the International Trade Center, at the J.W. Marriott Hotel,
1331 Pennsylvania Ave., NW,Washington DC 20005. The ABA group rate is
$222.00 single/double occupancy, plus tax. To reserve a room, call the
J.W. Marriott Hotel directly at 202/393-2000, or 800/228-9290. Be sure
to mention the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law Program to receive
the special group rate. The cutoff date for the room block is Monday,
March 1, 2004- but do not wait until the March 1 cutoff date, as the room
block fills up quickly. After this date, reservations can be made on a
space-available basis only. The ABA will not be able to secure a room
for you.
Travel Information: You are encouraged
to make your airline reservations on the ABA Online Travel site where
you automatically receive ABA airfare discounts from a variety of carriers.
ABA Online Travel can be accessed from the navigation bar on the left
of the ABA web site home page, www.abanet.org.
