Registration and Program Information

Advance Registration: You can register online on the Section website at www.abanet.org/intelprop/2004ptips_Boston/registration.html, or complete and mail the registration form with your payment. If paying by credit card, you may fax the completed form to 312/988-6800. Deadline for receipt of advance registration is October 8, 2004. Payment must accompany form.

Onsite Registration: Onsite registration will be available at Suffolk University Law School, Friday, October 22, 2004, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Onsite registrations must include payment.

Registration Confirmation: Confirmations will be sent via e-mail in advance of the program for all registrations received prior to October 8, 2004.

Cancellation Policy: Registrants unable to attend the program will receive a refund, less a $25 administrative fee if a cancellation request is received by October 8, 2004, either by e-mail to iplaw@abanet.org, or by fax at 312/988-6800, attn.: Practical Tips. No refunds will be granted after October 8. Substitutions are acceptable. The ABA reserves the right to cancel any program and assumes no responsibility for personal expenses.

Food and Beverage: There will be coffee service prior to the start of the program, and at breaks. A buffet luncheon is included in the registration fee.

Location and Lodging: The site of the program is Suffolk University Law School, 120 Tremont Street, Boston, MA. No sleeping rooms have been reserved for this meeting--individuals are on their own to make reservations at the hotel of their choice.

Travel: You are encouraged to make your airline reservations on the ABA Online Travel site where you automatically receive ABA airfare discounts from a variety of carriers. CLE Credit: CLE accreditation has been requested for this program from every state with mandatory continuing education requirements for lawyers. Please be aware that each state has its own rules and regula-tions, including its definition of "CLE." Check with your state agency for confirmation of this program's approval. Certificates of attendance will be available in the registration kits onsite. Attendees requesting credit for the program must sign the attendance ros-ter onsite at the program. New York attorneys must sign in and sign out each time they enter or leave the program room, and complete the special New York certificate of attendance at the end of each program and have it signed by authorized ABA personnel.
