Biography of Llewellyn G. Pritchard
Llewellyn G. Pritchard is a member of the law firm of Helsell Fetterman LLP of Seattle, Washington. Mr. Pritchard has been involved in many different leadership capacities in the American Bar Association and in the legal profession generally. He is former member of the Board of Governors of the ABA, Chair of the Family Law Section of the ABA, a member of the House of Delegates of the ABA, member of the Long Range Planning Committee, and Chair of the Section of Individual Rights and Responsibilities. Mr. Pritchard has also been Chair of the Standing Committee on Legal Aid and Indigent Defendants and a member of the Advisory Council of the Special Committee on Specialization. He currently is State Chair of The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, and a former member of the Board of Editors of the American Bar Journal. He is a former Governor of the Washington State Bar Association, and former Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee of that Association. Active in civil activities, Mr. Pritchard is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Allied Arts of Seattle, and is currently an honorary trustee of that organization. He is a national trustee of the National Symphony Orchestra. He is a former member of the Board of Visitors of the Seattle University School of Law and a former member of the Board of Trustees of the United Arts Council in Seattle. Mr. Pritchard has devoted a major part of his legal profession in serving the needs of those who have difficulty finding access to lawyers and to be fairly represented in the justice system. He is frequently called upon as an advisor to assist other entities, which have similar goals.
