The Physician Issues Interest Group. The Interest Group will focuses on issues relating to joint ventures, Stark Law and fraud and abuse, practice management arrangements, medical staff issues, medical malpractice insurance issues, credentialing issues, HIPAA, and other issues relevant to attorneys who represent physicians.

The Physician Issues Interest Group invites your participation. We will initiate a series of teleconferences on physician issues, as well as provide articles for the Health Law Section's eSource Newsletter and The Health Lawyer on various physician-related topics. We will also make recommendations on possible topics and speakers for a one-day conference sponsored by the Health Law Section on Physician Issues, to be held June in the coming year at ABA Headquarters in Chicago. As the Subinterest Group develops, committees may be established to address and/or focus on more in-depth or specific topics.
