Breast Cancer Task Force
The Breast Cancer Advocacy Initiative has been developed to provide legal advocacy training to lawyers, provide resources for lawyers and consumers dealing with breast cancer, and educating women, attorneys and policymakers on the range of legal issues impacting women's health.
2009–2010 Officer & Council Nominations Announced
Vickie Yates Brown, Section Chair and Chair of the Nominating Committee, is pleased to announce the slate for officers of the Section and the Section Governing Council. The slate will be voted on at the Section Business Meeting at the ABA Annual Meeting in Chicago on August 1. The meeting will be held at the Swissôtel, Montreaux Salon 3, 2nd floor Event Centre, at 11:30 a.m. All members are invited to attend. Click here to view the slate.

The Health Law Section is looking for firms or organizations that offer summer law student internships. If your firm or organization has openings for interns, please send the name of the entity, whether the internship is paid or unpaid and an email contact to Simeon Carson at carsons@staff.abanet.org. The information will be posted on the Health Law Section Law Student web page as an information service for law students.
Interest Group Spotlight
eHealth, Privacy & Security
The eHealth, Privacy & Security Interest Group focuses on cutting edge issues dealing with technology and privacy as they relate to healthcare. Substantive topics of interest to committee members include health information privacy and security, electronic communications, electronic transactions and telehealth. The Interest Group will seek to encourage discussion and debate on emerging legal issues in these areas.
