Resources - State and Local Bars

There are some amazing resources freely available on state bar websites for solo and small firm attorneys, even if you don't practice in those states. These six in particular are worth your while to check out:
- The Oklahoma Bar Association has an excellent Management Assistance Program. Their website offers the outstanding blog Jim Calloway's Law Practice Tips Blog, a very deep selection of articles, a section on how to start a law practice, sample forms and more.
- The State Bar of Wisconsin Law Office Management Assistance Program has an excellent collection of links and articles about starting, managing and exiting a practice, and more.
- State Bar of Georgia Law Practice Management Program has an excellent collection of articles, forms and references to other resources.
- The Resources page of the State Bar of Michigan's Practice Management Resource Center has a great collection of checklists, how to's and articles.
- The South Carolina Bar Practice Management Resources has an excellent resources section with articles, checklists and more, as well as practice tips and the site of the week.
- Maryland State Bar Association's Law Office Management Assistance has an nice collection of articles freely available.
