ABA President to Kick Off the GP|Solo Fall Meeting in Boston
Among the highlights of the 2005 Fall Meeting will be a special presentation by ABA President Mike Greco. President Greco will chair a Plenary Session on the topic “A Renaissance of Idealism in the Legal Profession.”
Fifty local law students have been invited to meet with President Greco and members of the GP|Solo Division to discuss the role they play in the future of the profession. The law students are invited to participate in a half day of CLE presented by our Division and meeting sponsors, West, the National Arbitration Forum, Minnesota Lawyers Mutual, and the National Association for Law Placement. The day will end with a special Difference Maker Dinner honoring the hard work of several local attorneys whose dedication has changed the profession of law for the better. The awards ceremony and dinner will be followed by live music and dancing in the beautiful World Trade Center overlooking the harbor.

2005-2006 Diversity Fellows
The Diversity Fellows Program is designed to promote ethnic diversity within the Division, recruit members of color, and provide leadership development opportunities within the Division for members of color.
Each year the Division’s Diversity Committee and
Membership Board identifies and nominates four lawyers of color
to be appointed by the Chair-Elect to funded fellowship positions
within the Division, effective during the following bar year.
Upon completion of successful active participation in the first
scholarship year, these participants will be appointed to
regularly funded positions within the Division the following bar
year, giving consideration to the Division’s existing needs
and the par-
ticipants’ preferences based upon their first year of
participation. The Division welcomes the Diversity Fellows for
