Spring Meeting Recap

The joint meeting of the GP|Solo Section and the Young Lawyers Division in Miami, Florida, was tremendously successful. In addition to spending time by the beach and pool, attendees enjoyed sold-out social events and dynamic Road Show programming. Many thanks to the presenters who helped to make this day-long CLE event a great success. Kudos as well to the Miami Host Committee members for their hard work.

Last Call for Tickets

If you haven’t picked up a ticket to Dining Out 2005, you risk missing one of the premier events of the Annual Meeting. The black-tie dinner honors a longstanding military tradition dating back to George Washington’s Continental Army. This event is presented by the Judge Advocate Generals of the U.S. Armed Services, hosted by the GP|Solo Section and co-sponsored by TIPS and the Young Lawyers Division.

Save the Date!

Incoming Chair Dwight Smith invites you to join your GP|Solo Section colleagues in Boston for the 2005 Fall Meeting, to be held in conjunction with the New England Bar Association’s Annual Meeting. Plan to spend a weekend in historic Boston at the beautiful Seaport Hotel on the city’s waterfront. Among the highlights of the meeting will be outstanding CLE programs, an authentic New England clambake, and a very special dinner. Special invited guests include incoming ABA President Michael S. Greco.

We have secured a special group rate of $149 for a limited time only. Call the Seaport Hotel at 877/732-7678 today to make your reservation. For more information please visit the Section’s website at www.abanet.org/genpractice.
