Fall Meeting Wrap-Up
If you missed the 2003 General Practice, Solo
and Small Firm Division Fall Meeting held October 16 to 19 in
Minneapolis, Minnesota—shame on you! More than 100
participants took advantage of 21 hours of CLE and excellent
social events, including a fabulous tailgate party complete with
a live rock band.
Kicking off the meeting, ABA Executive Director
Robert Stein and other special invited guests greeted the
participants during the opening session. The University of
Minnesota Alumni Band prepared the crowd for an evening of
tailgating by playing a selection of fight songs from Midwestern
colleges.
Vendors from companies handpicked for their
solo and small-firm-friendly products displayed their wares and
gave freebies to conference participants. Our host city gave us a
reprieve from the Minnesota fall chill with unseasonable warmth
on Saturday as we visited the headquarters of our primary
corporate sponsor, West.
If you missed the boat, it’s not too late
to view the cutting-edge CLE. Program CDs are available for
sale for $25—please call the section office at
312/988-5640 for more information.
