One Firm Shows How It’s Done
When my firm, Siskind, Susser, Haas & Devine, first developed its website (www.visalaw.com), we took the time to focus on content. Thanks to our web presence, we have become one of the best-known immigration firms in the country.
Our firm, an immigration boutique, is based in Tennessee and was founded in 1994. On our website, we offer a free weekly newsletter of immigration news; free bulletin boards, where individuals and lawyers interested in an issue or area of law can participate; pages specifically designed for certain targets such as high-tech visa holders and foreign physicians; and a newsletter designed specifically for lawyers and other professionals who routinely work with immigrants. We regularly update the pages that track legislative developments. Because of its rich content, we have been able to use our site to build credibility with the national media as well as prospective clients, government officials, other lawyers, and referral sources.
The firm also offers online calendaring. Clients can go to my public calendar, see the available times, and select three appointment times. After I synchronize my calendar, I review the requests and e-mail the client the chosen appointment date and time.
