GP|Solo and Small Firm Division Staff

Director
ResponsibilitiesSupervises the activities of the Division staff; provides primary support to Officers, Council members and Standing Committees in the areas of planning, finances and issue development; supervises membership development activities. Maintains liaison with ABA entities.

Finance and Committees Coordinator
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for implementation of the Division’s budget development, including monitoring and conducting quarterly budget review. Manages committee appointment process, Development of Division’s Leadership Directory. Provides primary support of activities for the Division, its officers, council and administrative committees. Liaison for Awards Program and Diversity Initiative.

Meetings Manager
ResponsibilitiesEstablishes procedures and directs the activities of the Meetings Group. Provides primary support to the Division’s substantive law and professional issues committee. Responsible for Division programs, meeting arrangements and social activities, including meeting budget development, site research and marketing strategies.

Meeting Services & CLE Coordinator
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for meeting registration and payments; coordinates onsite meeting and program logistic; handles speaker arrangements and the production of program materials; coordinates and submission of MCLE information; organizes meeting shipments and on–site registration desk. Provides assistance to Division’s Substantive committees.

Member Services Manager
ResponsibilitiesDevelops and implements membership recruitment and retention programs and serve as the staff liaison to the Division’s Membership Board. Works closely with ABA Membership and Marketing Department staff to take advantage of joint section programs.
Technology Coordinator
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the development and implementation of the Division’s technology plans, including but not limited to the Division’s website, e–newsletters, list serves and email recruitment pieces. Researches and implements new means to promote Division activity and generally raises Division prominence via technology. Serves as Division liaison to the IS Department and acts as on–site A/V and technology support at ABA and GP|Solo meetings.
