Go for that Appointment! Get included!
Greetings GP|Solo Division Members:
The theme for the 2008-2009 bar year is “Bar None – Inclusivity of People and Ideas”. And the Division needs your help to make that theme a greater reality. Diversity of individuals and their ideas have made GP the fourth largest entity within the ABA. That same inclusivity has allowed the Division to successfully serve its members, improving their practice and community involvement. To build on that success, GP needs your participation and support. This means GP sincerely asks you to seek an appointment to one of the many committees that comprise its framework of volunteer activities.
Do not be hesitant, do not be shy, do apply. And do let us know if you are willing to serve as a committee chair or vice chair.
You will not be left isolated in accomplishing your volunteer work on behalf of GP. Helpful leadership handbooks and valuable in person mentoring are available to foster full inclusion within the active GP family.
We will attempt to fulfill your appointment and committee preferences. The application deadline is March 3, 2008. So please, get yourself included now!
