On October 15-16, 2009, the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry will hold its Fall Conference in Philadelphia, PA entitled "The Two-Way Street Of Construction Consulting: Learning From The Ins & Outs". This conference will bring into sharp focus persistent issues facing construction counselors - particularly in-house counsel. It will showcase many notable in-house and outside construction counselors who will take up the many challenges of advising construction industry participants in a lackluster economy. Topics covered include: conflicting state laws and regulations, managing complex litigation, workforce and government contract compliance issues, and the Obama Administration's impact on the construction industry.
On November 5, 2009, the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry will present, in five cities across the country, Fundamentals of Construction Law - Learn the Basics from the Pros.
