Jill Meyer has been promoted to Member-in-Charge of the Cincinnati office of Frost Brown Todd.  In the capacity of Member-in-Charge of Frost Brown Todd’s largest office, Jill will be responsible for client development initiatives, civic and charitable involvement, and community outreach in Cincinnati.

Stephanie Podey, formerly with Wilkie Farr & Gallagher, has joined the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) as their Associate General Counsel.  The NCTA Legal Department monitors and participates in all relevant FCC and Copyright Office proceedings; participates in litigation affecting the cable industry; responds to other federal regulatory agencies when cable-related issues are involved; monitors state regulatory actions; assists NCTA members with cable-related questions; and participates in academic and research activities involving cable.

Cristina M. Pierson has become a named partner in the law firm of Hargrove, Pierson & Brown, P.A. in Boca Raton, Florida.

Sherrese Smith, formerly Vice President and General Counsel of Washington Post Digital, has been appointed Legal Adviser to FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski.  Sherrese will have particular responsibility for advising on media, consumer and enforcement issues.

Gail Gove, formerly of Hogan & Hartson, has become Assistant General Counsel of Dow Jones Company, Inc.

Corinna Ulrich has become Senior Corporate Counsel at Expedia, Inc. in Dallas Texas.

In June 2008, Gayle C. Sproul, a partner with Levine Sullivan Koch & Schulz, L.L.P., was appointed to serve on the Legal Advisory Committee of the Student Press Law Center. The Student Press Law Center educates high school and college journalists about the rights and responsibilities embodied in the First Amendment, and supports the student news media in covering important issues. The Center also provides free information and educational materials for student journalists and their teachers on a wide variety of legal topics.

In May 2008, Katharine Larsen joined Levine Sullivan Koch & Schulz, L.L.P. as an associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office.
