Registration

Early bird registration deadline: September 2, 2008
The early bird registration fee, postmarked by 9/02/08, is $425 for ABA Section of Family Law members. This fee covers all CLE Programs, a CD-ROM, breakfast each day and networking receptions on Thursday and Saturday evenings.

The non-lawyer spouse or guest registration fee is $125. This registration fee allows your registered guest to attend the morning breakfasts and evening receptions. All spouses/guests will be required to wear a name badge to all events. Registration fees for children under 18 are complimentary; however, tickets must be purchased for all children attending ticketed social events.

Cancellation Policy
To receive a full refund, a written request must be received on or before September 12, 2008. No refunds will be issued after that date. Questions about cancellations can be directed to Section staff at 312-988-5145.

Airport & Transportation
The closest airport is Phoenix Harbor Airport (PHX), approximately 9 miles from the resort. Estimated taxi is $25 one way to the hotel. The hotel does not provide shuttle service to/from the airport, but you can reserve a shuttle by visiting SuperShuttle.com or calling 1-800-258-3826. The cost is $16 one-way or $32 roundtrip from the airport to the Camelback Inn.

La Puesta Del Sol
Friday, October 3
6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.

Join us for the best of the West! We'll travel down the trail to an authentic working ranch, nestled in the heart of the Sonoran desert, on the Yavapai Apache Indian reservation, surrounded by spectacular views of the Four Peaks Wilderness area.

La Puesta del Sol (see picture at right) is an open-air adobe cantina that overlooks the lights of the city below. We'll enjoy a cowboy cookout (with all the trimmings) over the open fire. Bring your boots and two-step to a country/western band, or try your hand at some cowboy games (such as roller roper, quick draw, tomahawk toss, and cork gun gallery).

Transportation is included.

First-Timers Recruitment Award

A spa package will be awarded to the Family Law Section member who recruits the most first-time attendees to the conference! The First-Timers form must be mailed or faxed to Section staff by the early-bird registration deadline of September 2. The prize will be announced at the Welcome Reception on Thursday evening. Round up as many as you can and everyone will benefit! (Of course, if you win the spa package, maybe you'll benefit just a little bit more.) :)

How Do You Win?
Just make sure your first-timer checks the "This is my first ABA Family Law Section Meeting" at the top of the registration form, checks FL Section Member under "How did you find out about the conference?" area AND writes your name down in the Member's Name blank. That's all there is to it. The member whose name pops up the most will be declared the winner.
