Registration and General Information
Location and Lodging
The site of the program is the Hotel Del Coronado, 1500 Orange Avenue, Coronado, CA. To learn more about the property, visit http://www.hoteldel.com/. A block of rooms has been reserved at the discounted rate of $205 standard single/double occupancy. A limited number of rooms are available to government employees at the rate of $139. (Identification is required for the reduced rate). Please be advised that there will be an additional $16 per day Resort Fee. The cut-off for room reservations at the discounted rate is Wednesday, January 31, 2007. After that date, rooms can be reserved on a space-available basis. Glorietta Bay Inn
Across the street from the Hotel Del Coronado is the Glorietta Bay Inn, 1630 Glorietta Blvd., (800) 283-9383. No rooming block has been established at this hotel as meeting attendees are encouraged to make their lodging reservations at the Hotel Del Coronado. Room rates at the Glorietta Bay Inn range from $175 - $230 per night.
Early Registration
We request that all registrations be made in advance by completing the attached form and mailing it with your payment to the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources, Attn.: Water Law Conference, 321 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60654. The deadline for receipt of early bird registration is January 12, 2007. All registrations postmarked after January 12, 2007 must include an additional $50 for processing. The final cutoff date for all pre-registrations (early bird and late) is February 5, 2007. Should you miss the deadline and need to register onsite, please call (312) 988-5724 to assure that space is available.

Onsite Registration
Onsite registration will be available beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21 and then again at 7:00 a.m., Thursday, February 22. If you plan to register at the door, you must call (312) 988-5724 at least 72 hours before the conference to confirm that space is still available. Failure to call in advance may result in not being admitted due to a sold out program. Onsite registrations will be accepted when accompanied by a check, money order, government purchase order, or government training form. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are also accepted onsite. No registration will be accepted without payment.
Registration Confirmation
In order to be listed in the pre-registration list distributed at the program, registration must be received by February 5, 2007. If you have not received a written confirmation by February 5, 2007, please call (312) 988-5724 to verify that your registration form and payment were received.
Fee Information
Fee covers printed course materials, beverage breaks, continental breakfast and receptions on Wednesday and Thursday, and lunch on Thursday and Friday. Both lunch events are ticketed and require advanced sign up in order to participate.
Cancellation Policy
Registrants who are unable to attend the conference will receive a refund less a $50 administrative fee if a written cancellation is received by February 5, 2007. Cancellations may be faxed to (312) 988-5572, attn.: Program Registrar. No refunds will be granted after February 5, 2007. Program fees are not transferable to other Section or ABA programs. Substitutions for the program are acceptable. The ABA reserves the right to cancel any program and assumes no responsibility for personal expense.
Transportation
Airfare discounts are available through ABA Online Travel, Travelocity Business or directly from the airline. To access ABA Online Travel, go to http://www.abanet.org/mtd/onlinetravel.html. The 24/7 toll-free number for Travelocity Business is (866) 321-8403.
Transportation from the San Diego airport to the Hotel Del Coronado is available via hotel shuttle for $29 (covering transportation for up to three adults). If using the hotel shuttle, please call (888) 726-4504 upon arrival at the San Diego airport, approximate wait time is 10-15 minutes. Taxi service to the hotel is also available to the hotel and will cost approximately $28. Attendees may also use the service Cloud Nine Shuttle, (619) 542-8981 for $14.50 per person each way. Advance reservations are recommended. Cloud Nine Shuttle is located across the street from the baggage claim area. You may also book online at http://www.cloudnineshuttle.com/.
CLE Credit
CLE accreditation has been requested for this program from every state with mandatory continuing education requirements for lawyers. Please be aware that each state has its own rules and regulations, including its definition of “CLE.” Check with your state agency for confirmation of this program’s approval. Please note: New York licensed participants are required to sign in and out on a special attendance sheet at each session. States with lawyer specialization programs have not been requested to certify this program. Certificates of attendance will be available in the registration materials at the program.
