Program Overview:
The ABA participated in a project to develop a Model Renewable Energy Certificate Purchase and Sale Agreement. This Quick Teleconference will feature its practical use in financing transactions: (1) Overview of the Master Contract; (2) How the Master Contract May be used in Business Transactions; (3) How the Master Contract May be used in the Voluntary Green Tag Markets; (4) From RECs to Carbon Markets – How Transactions for Attributes May Emerge.

Educational Objectives:

  • Practical use of the RECs Master Contract in monetization of Renewable Energy Credits in U.S. markets.
  • Relationship to pertinent environmental requirements.
  • Application of contract law principles to RECs transactions.

Cancellation Policy:
