Program Overview:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s complex Renewable Fuel Standard, which implements Section 211 of the Clean Air Act, became effective on September 1, 2007. The new rule implements the renewable fuel mandate of the Energy Policy Act of 2005. Through the expert guidance of both federal regulators and members of the regulated community, the program will review important requirements of the rule, will offer helpful insight and guidance with the challenges of compliance, and will provide a forum for attendees to have difficult compliance issues discussed.

Educational Objectives:

  • Educate members concerning the requirements of this complex rule
  • Assist members with compliance with this complicated rule
  • Provide feedback to EPA concerning compliance difficulties with the rule
