About the Conference

The ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources is pleased to offer this outstanding and timely conference at the Swissotel in Chicago, Illinois. This unique program focuses on practice-oriented policy and enforcement developments in U.S. EPA Region 5, consisting of the Great Lakes States of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin, and on Transborder issues involving U.S. companies, the Province of Ontario and the federal government of Canada.

This program offers federal and state staff attorneys, in-house counsel and advanced-level practitioners the unique opportunity to attend an ABA SEER Conference where all Speakers and Roundtable participants are leading federal and state policymakers, regulators and lawyers. Private practitioners from each Region 5 state will serve as Moderators of the various panels.

ABA SEER is pleased to announce in addition to the invited Keynote speaker being the U.S. EPA Region 5 Regional Administrator, that a Roundtable panel consisting of the State Environmental Directors from each Region 5 state and from the Ontario Ministry of Environment has been assembled.

Who should attend?
• Lawyers who practice environmental law in Region 5, including private practitioners, in-house counsel, counsel for nonprofit environmental groups, and lawyers for local, state, and federal governmental agencies

• Anyone wishing to learn more about emerging environmental law issues in the Midwest
