Registration and General Information

Location and Lodging
The site of the program is the Hyatt Regency Miami, 400 SE Second Avenue, Miami FL. A block of rooms has been reserved at the discounted rate of $144 standard single/double occupancy. The cut-off for room reservations at the discounted rate was April 22, 2006. Guests who would still like to make reservations at the discounted rate can do so by contacting the hotel Reservation Manager, Dennis Faxas at (305) 679-3229 or dfaxas@hyatt.com. Please refer to the ABA Eastern Water Law Conference rate.

Early Registration
We request that all registrations be made in advance by completing the attached form and mailing it with your payment to the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources, Attn.: Water Law Conference, 321 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60654. The deadline for receipt of early bird registration is April 19, 2006. All registrations postmarked after April 19, 2006 must include an additional $50 for processing. The final cutoff date for all pre-registrations (early bird and late) is April 27, 2006. Should you miss the deadline and need to register onsite, please call (312) 988-5724 to assure that space is available.

Onsite Registration
Onsite registration will be available beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 11. If you plan to register at the door, you must call (312) 988-5724 at least 72 hours before the conference to confirm that space is still available. Failure to call in advance may result in not being admitted to a sold out program. Onsite registrations will be accepted when accompanied by a check, money order, government purchase order, or government training form. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are also accepted onsite. No registration will be accepted without payment.

Registration Confirmation
In order to be listed in the pre-registration list distributed at the program, registration must be received by April 27, 2006. If you have not received a written confirmation by April 27, 2006, please call (312) 988-5724 to verify that your registration form and payment were received.

Fee Information
Fee covers printed course materials, beverage breaks, receptions on Wednesday and Thursday, and lunch on Thursday.

Cancellation Policy
Registrants who are unable to attend the conference will receive a refund less a $50 administrative fee if a written cancellation is received by April 27, 2006. Cancellations may be faxed to (312) 988-5572, attn.: Program Registrar. No refunds will be granted after April 27, 2006. Substitutions are acceptable. No exceptions will be made. The ABA reserves the right to cancel any program and assumes no responsibility for personal expense.

Transportation
Airfare discounts are available through ABA Online Travel, Travelocity Business or directly from the airline. To access ABA Online Travel, go to http://www.abanet.org/mtd/onlinetravel.html. American Airlines discounts can also be coordinated directly with the airline by contacting them at (800) 433-1790; reference discount code 18395.

The Miami International Airport is located approximately 20 minutes from the Hyatt Regency Miami hotel. Several options exist for transportation to and from the hotel. SuperShuttle service is located outside of the baggage claim area. The cost is $15/person each way; advance reservations are not required. You may also use taxi service at a cost of approximately $20-$25 each way.

CLE Credit
CLE accreditation has been requested for this program from every state with mandatory continuing education requirements for lawyers. Please be aware that each state has its own rules and regulations, including its definition of “CLE.” Check with your state agency for confirmation of this program’s approval. Please note: New York licensed participants are required to sign in and out on a special attendance sheet at each session. States with lawyer specialization programs have not been requested to certify this program. Certificates of attendance will be available in the registration materials at the program.
