ABA Diversity Fellowships in Environmental Law - Program Deadlines Applications are being accepted for the ABA Diversity Fellowships in Environmental Law program in California, Washington, DC, Florida, New York, and Rhode Island. This program is designed to encourage disadvantaged or traditionally underrepresented law students to study and pursue careers in environmental law. The Fellowship program is available to first and second year law students or third year night students from underrepresented or underserved groups, including for example, minority or low-income populations.…(more). Key Enforcement and Regulatory Developments in U.S. EPA Region 8 The Section is pleased to offer this timely conference on environmental enforcement and regulatory developments in the U.S. EPA Region 8 states of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, and 27 Tribal Nations. This program, to be held November 5-6, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency at the Convention Center, focuses on developments of particular concern in these western states and across this EPA Region, and is unique in its substantial EPA Region 8, EPA Headquarters, and State environmental enforcement managers’ participation on the program faculty. This program is accented by a plenary session among senior state environmental enforcement managers and a Keynote address by the Assistant Regional Administrator of U.S. EPA Region 8’s Office of Enforcement, Compliance, and Environmental Justice.
