The Mining Committee is devoted to study and discussion of the entire range of environmental, energy and resource issues attendant to the hardrock and coal mining industries, including regulatory developments, civil and criminal actions, and other aspects of these industries which involve legal counseling and representation. The Committee strives to ensure that its membership and leadership represent a wide variety of practice settings, including corporate, private firms, government and public interest attorneys, and we welcome any Section member with an interest in these areas to become a member, receive the committee newsletter and participate in other committee communications. The Committee also encourages its members to participate in the Committee list serve (discussion group).
