WELCOME, to the Law Student Programs Committee, Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources webpage. It is an honor to welcome you to the Section, and we encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities that are available to young professionals such as yourself.

The Law Student Programs Committee has developed a long term plan that is designed to 1) provide opportunities for interaction between the Section law student members and Section attorney members; 2) increase visibility of the Section among law students throughout the country; 3) attract new law student members; and 4) serve as a "clearinghouse" of information for law students interested in the areas of environmental, energy and resources law. Of course, this long term plan cannot be accomplished without your participation and support.

As law students studying in the areas of environment, energy and resources law, we certainly understand the road you are traveling. You are wondering, what do I need to do to get a job in this area? Are there any conferences I can attend to learn about environmental law? Are there any networking opportunities available for me as a law student? The answers to your questions are at your fingertips. By attending our Section's events, you will learn the answers to these and many other questions.

This year it is our hope to serve as a catalyst for change - to serve as your voice in this Section. We invite you to be a part of this cutting edge and exciting area of the law.
