Oregon

Eligibility: 2L (or 3L in four-year program)

The Oregon State Bar (OSB) Affirmative Action Program (AAP) is pleased to partner with the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources and its 2008 Fellowships in Environmental Law Program (FELP). This collaborative program will place an Oregon second year law student (or third year law student in four-year program) in an Oregon government agency or public interest organization for 10-12 weeks, approximately 40-hours per week, for a grant of $5000. The student will work on legal matters under an Oregon attorney’s supervision in the fields of environment, energy, natural resources and/or land use law.

The FELP is incorporated into the OSB Public Honors Fellowship Program (PHFP) to satisfy grant requirements for matching funds. Eligibility for the PHFP is open to any Oregon law student who can help the AAP advance its access to justice goals. For details, please see http://www.osbar.org/aap/programs.html#honors.
