2007-2008 Committee Chair:
Christopher Marraro

About the Committee
The Energy and Natural Resources Litigation Committee seeks to provide its membership with up-to-date information on issues relevant to energy and natural resources practitioners. This is accomplished through the publication of a Newsletter, sponsorship of Continuing Legal Education programs and encouragement of membership participation and information exchange.
The ENRLC leadership has recently identified the following areas of significant interest to the Committee:
- Electricity litigation, with particular emphasis on energy law of electric and natural gas conveyance, including regulatory and antitrust issues, and stranded cost recovery litigation.
- Natural resources litigation, with particular emphasis on emerging natural resource damage issues and constitutional takings issues.
- Oil and natural gas litigation, with particular emphasis on oil royalty valuation issues, including state and federal contract and antitrust class action cases; ad valorem tax issues on the state and national level; and natural gas gathering and balancing issues.
- Overarching litigation issues, including the efficient trial of a complex energy case, class action management and use of technology in the courtroom.
Message from the Chair
The ENRLC leadership welcomes new members and the insights, contributions and perspectives they provide. We strongly encourage the participation and exchange of ideas among our members with forums such as our Newsletter and planned website. We welcome questions, suggestions, comments and especially new members.
