At the Fall 2007 Section meeting, the Committee is cosponsoring the Plenary Session, "Meeting Our Energy Challenges Head On - A Complex Mosaic of Solutions", and the Session, "Reviving the Nuclear Power Option to Address National Energy, Economic, and Environmental Security Concerns". The Committee has also cosponsored a quick teleconference this past year and is planning to cosponsor another in the months ahead. Over the summer of 2007, the Committee will survey the Committee membership with a questionnaire to solicit ideas, suggestions, and interests that might be addressed by the Committee in the future. The Committee, as it has in the past, continues to take a leadership role in the Section's combined Energy Committees Newsletter, and makes an annual contribution to the Section's Year In Review.
