The Section would like to recognize the Committees and their Chairs that have made outstanding efforts during the 2008-2009 ABA year. The Section Council recognizes Committees in each of the three practice areas, environment, energy and resources, and cross practice for best publications, best programs, and best public service. In addition each group is awarded the best committee and special recognition is given for Committees who have made an outstanding effort to improve their performance. In addition to that, the Section Council also recognizes the best overall Section Committee. These Committees were recognized during the 2008-2009 ABA year at The ABA Environment, Energy, and Resources Law Summit: 17th Section Fall Meeting in Baltimore, MD.
