Change is coming! The next twelve months will welcome a new President and administration that have the potential to move Congress into drafting the most wide-ranging energy legislation that this country has seen in decades. It is most certainly an exciting time to be an environment, energy, and resources lawyer. Our Section is poised to offer advice and counsel in this process, and I invite you to join the dialog. With over 11,000 members nation-wide and abroad, ranging from federal and state government lawyers to law students, private practitioners, and lawyers representing environment, energy, and resources NGOs, the Section is the premier forum to exchange ideas, educate one another, network and just plain have fun.
