Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources

About the Section

Welcome

Dear Colleagues,

John CrudenI have designated this the Year of Outreach, and we are excited about the opportunity to work with you. We have seven new task forces reaching out to the international community; the energy bar; federal, state, and native American attorneys; law students; young lawyers; the environmental justice community; and Congress. And, we have two new advisory groups with the most outstanding lawyers in the nation from academia, environmental groups, corporations, and private practice. You will want to be part of this challenge. This is an extraordinary time to be an environmental, energy, or natural resource attorney and our Section is the premier forum in the nation for substantive law developments and networking with peers. With over 11,000 members nation-wide and abroad, the Section is the leading place in the nation for Environment, Energy, and Resources law. Join us and you become eligible to participate in the activities of over thirty substantive law committees that have an incredible array of programs, publications, and public service projects.

If you have questions about the Section or its work, please contact Dana Jonusaitis, our Section Director at (312) 988-5602, or contact me directly. Be part of our outreach effort.
