Domestic Violence Webinar Series: Privacy, LGBT & Disability
The American Bar Association Commission on Domestic Violence, in collaboration with the United States Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), is pleased to present a the six-part 2009 Domestic Violence Webinar Series: Tips and Strategies in Protecting Victim Privacy, Representing LGBT Victims and Representing Victims With Disabilities. Webinars are every Wednesday beginning on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 and ending on Wednesday May 27, 2009. You may register for one or more of the webinars, there is no requirement that you register for all of them, though we strongly encourage you to do so.

The Webinars are offered at no cost and continuing legal education credits have been sought for each webinar in all 50 states. Priority in registration will be given to attorneys currently funded by the Legal Assistance for Victims (LAV) grant program of the United States Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women Additional participant slots will be made available to attorneys currently funded by other OVW-funded grant programs that represent victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Remaining spots will be made available to non-OVW funded attorneys currently serving victims and survivors. Registration will close at two hundred participants per webinar.
