About the Section of Dispute Resolution
The Section of Dispute Resolution is in the midst of an exciting time. Fresh from a year of many outstanding achievements the Section is poised for important work on issues critical to Section members and to the future of ADR. If it's happening in ADR, it's happening in this Section.

Publications - You receive subscriptions to the Dispute Resolution Magazine and Just
Resolutions Newsletter, plus a 50% discount on the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution.
Practice tips - The section provides critical advice to help better serve your clients in the fast changing world of ADR through publications and member-only electronic Discussion Groups.
CLE Sessions - The Section offers training on current topics of interest to neutrals and lawyers who represent clients in ADR proceedings. We schedule four to five CLE conferences a year at which members receive a registration discount equal to the cost of Section Membership.
Annual and Midyear Section Meetings - You will have an opportunity to network with dispute resolvers and advocates and to learn the very latest techniques and developments at ABA Annual and Mid Year meetings.
Ethics Guidance - You receive guidance about emerging ethics issues that arise in a dispute resolution practice from leading practitioners and academics.
Internet Participation - You will share the latest dispute resolution information and resources on the Section's Web Site and the Section-sponsored E-Mail Discussion Groups which will allow you to interact and share information with the leading professionals in the dispute resolution field.
The Section has fifty committees including Arbitration, Mediation, International, Practice Development, among others. The Section has published the Model Standards of Conduct for Mediators in cooperation with the American Arbitration Association and the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution.
