SEXUAL ORIENTATION AND GENDER IDENTITY

Who We Are

The Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Committee of the Individual Rights and Responsibilities Section works to protect and advance the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) persons by educating the legal profession, by developing, implementing and disseminating policies supporting equal justice under law without regard to one's sexual orientation or gender identity, and by filing amicus curiae briefs. For more information on the Committee's work, or to join the Committee, contact the Section office.
