About the Committee

The Committee provides cutting-edge information and commentary on the work of a wide range of international courts and tribunals, from the International Court of Justice to investor-State arbitration tribunals. The Committee's focus is on both the substantive and procedural aspects of international decision-making. On substance, the Committee works to inform the legal community and the general public about the significance of international judgments and awards. On procedure, the Committee monitors and reports on key changes in the development of international rules of procedure. Our annual Year-in-Review article summarizes the latest developments in the field.

Message From The Chair

Welcome to the International Courts Committee!

We expect this bar year to be our most exciting ever. We look forward to working with all our members in developing this year's agenda, including roundtable discussions, conference programs, and brown-bag lunch talks on the hottest topics in the field of international courts and tribunals.

We are also extremely excited about recent changes to our Committee's leadership that have deepened our expertise in the field. This year's distinguished leadership consists of:
