Welcome to the International Employment Law Committee This committee focuses on the role employment issues play in today's global workplace. In this role, this committee addresses local employment law considerations that affect U.S. multinational employers with operations around the world. Furthermore, this committee addresses cross-border and transnational employment law considerations, such as the role employment issues play in free trade agreements. Finally, this committee also addresses U.S. employment law as it affects foreign employers in the United States, and the extraterritorial effect of U.S. employment law. Membership is well-balanced among international practitioners with interest in the United States, and U.S. practitioners with focus on international and cross-border employment issues. This committee publishes the International Employment Lawyer.
