About the Committee

This Committee is concerned with all the legislation, judicial decisions, non-binding communications and preparatory acts of the European Union, its member states and the European Free Trade Area states. The Committee covers Community legislation such as Directives of the European Parliament and the Council, Regulations, Decisions, Guidelines, proposals, communications, reports, green and white papers, and the judgments of the European Court of Justice and Court of First Instance. Questions regarding European Expansion, the European Constitution, other initiatives and trade issues between the EU and the United States are also included.
