About the Committee

This committee deals with intellectual property problems arising out of differences in the laws of various countries; issues concerning the negotiation and implementation of international agreements affecting intellectual property rights; the rights of United States citizens to obtain intellectual property protection in other countries and the rights of foreign authors, inventors and producers to obtain intellectual property protection in the United States; securing intellectual property protection on a multinational basis; and the laws of the United States and foreign countries regarding the importation and exportation of intellectual property products.
