Section of International Law: Lawyers Lifestyles Taskforce

Section of International Law:
Lawyers Lifestyles Taskforce

Who We Are

The mission of the Lawyers Lifestyle Task Force of the ABA Section of International Law is to raise awareness, encourage and facilitate an open discourse on lifestyle issues for lawyers identified in the Section's SIN, YIN, WIN and GIN committees.

Among this Task Force's principal points of focus are the issues lawyers face throughout their careers when the demands of practicing law clash with the desire to enjoy life outside of work. The Task Force will serve as a forum where lawyers from all locations worldwide, ages, experience levels and practice areas can share ideas on how to achieve and manage a work/life balance taking into consideration the demands of praticing law, career expectations, social and political issues and retirement expectations.

The Task Force seeks to link the synergies of ABA and affiliate legal organizations to examine whether an optimal work/life balance is attainable for a diverse cross-section of the legal profession.
