SILENT PARTNER Handouts These handouts are a lawyer-to-lawyer resource for military legal assistance attorneys and civilian lawyers. It is an attempt to explain general issues about military family law - in plain English, without too many footnotes, and in a way that lawyers who are short on time and topic knowledge can easily understand. These information letters are written by Committee Chair Mark Sullivan of Raleigh, NC, and are listed in alphabetical order by title.
TAKE-1 Handouts These handouts are client information letters prepared by Mark Sullivan for the North Carolina State Bar's Standing Committee on Legal Assistance for Military Personnel. They are available at all military legal assistance offices in North Carolina and may be reprinted and/or adapted by other states, by civilian practitioners and by other military legal offices with an acknowledgment as follows: This handout is based on a TAKE-1 information letter prepared by the North Carolina State Bar's Standing Committee on Legal Assistance for Military Personnel.
